The plumbing is also set behind the wire mesh, I recommend covering all copper pipe with some type of protective cover such as shown here prior to spraying Portland cement or shotcrete.

Scaffolding is very necessary when applying Portland cement or shotcrete or building with the Tridipanels.

The first coat of Portland cement mortar mix has been applied, this first coat usually comes out to the wire mesh.
